Recruitment

EJAC WDB offers several free resources to staff your business. If you have just a few openings or hundreds, our staff will meet with you to determine how we can assist you. Missouri Job Center staff will assist with: job listings, applicant matching, resume review, skills assessments, and pre-screening of applicants.

The Missouri Job Center can provide a large pool of recently trained and experienced workers. Also, employers have access to conference and meeting rooms to interview and assess applicants at our eight different locations that are accessible by public transit.

On-The-Job Training

Our employer partnerships offer the benefit of an on-the-job training program that allows employers to be reimbursed up to 50% of a new employee's training wages in exchange for on-the-job training.

The Eastern Jackson County Area Local Missouri Job Centers will assist in identifying and pre-screening new applicants while employers themselves retain full control over the hiring and placement process.

Internships

Internships allow employers to determine whether employees are a good fit for their company before being officially hired.

Through our internship process, the Eastern Jackson County Area Local Missouri Job Center serves as the employer of record. It pays the full cost of an internship stipend for six to eight weeks based upon fund availability. Internships are popular among job seekers as they provide valuable work experience and training.

The Registered Apprenticeship Program offers employers the opportunity to:
